AI technology had advanced rapidly, with mass production of AI robots and humanoids, when one day someone released an AI virus called Rising Cipher online,turning AI robots into weapons of destruction.

AI across the globe became simultaneously uncontrollable, and countless armed, violent humanoids began attacking humanity.

Conventional weapons were ineffective against these armed humanoids, rendering police and military powerless.

In the face of extinction, humanity developed the computer vaccine Blue Galaxy to destroy Rising Cipher,which completely eradicated Rising Cipher in cyberspace.

The remaining problem was the standalone armed humanoids in the real world to whom the vaccine could not be administered.

To counter this, humanity continued their research, converting Blue Galaxy into a special laser and developing a laser gun called Galaxy. An elite resistance unit carrying these weapons called Issen have begun gathering at a training ground in the Daiba District, and,detecting this movement, armed humanoids have prepared to counterattack.
